Carlson Survey Desktop
 |
Carlson
Survey Desktop (CSD) Release 4.0 is a companion product with
Autodesk® Land Desktop 2008 and LDT 2007
that runs inside Autodesk Land Desktop and is fully integrated with the
Autodesk Land Desktop project environment. (Note for LDT users: If you have
LDT 2004-2006, you need CSD 3, if you have LDT 3, you need CSD 2).
CSD interfaces
with all popular data collectors for download/upload, it edits and adjusts
field data, including SurvNET -- Carlson's Network Least Squares program --
and it supports advanced Field-to-Finish. Additional features include deed
enter and reporting, cut sheets, area adjustments and reports, polyline
tools and streamlined COGO. CSD works seamlessly with our data collection
packages of Carlson SurvCE and CG. It is an ideal product for use by
Autodesk Land Desktop users looking for more efficient and broad survey

Carlson SurvCE 2011
 |
Two years in
development, SurvCE2.5 includes six new and expanded Roading Routines:
Template Grade Tables, Grade Staking, Multiple Centerline Routine, Dynamic
Template Ditches, the display and staking of pipes in cross section, and
Screen Selection of Sections from Polylines.
Here's one
of the newest aspects of Carlson SurvCE—
Learn how
to take an Esri geodatabase from
ArcView into Carlson
Survey and then to Carlson SurvCE for data collection. Next the data is
taken from SurvCE into Carlson Survey and then back into ArcView.
In addition, this new
release features new stakeout commands for building extensions following
alignments observed in the field and for building pad relocation by frontage
and side-line offsets. The Advanced Occupating command allows for both
resection and backsight averaging using least squares analysis on all types
of backsight observation (angle only to towers, angle/distance to prisms,
etc.).
Also new are the
increased numbers of Instrument Drivers added for Total Stations and GPS
receivers. These include: CST Berger, Foif, GeoMax, Hemisphere Crescent and
Eclipse, Javad receivers, Leica Flexline, NavCom 2110, Ashtech ProMark 500
and ProFlex 500, Sokkia GRX1 and Stonex S9 GNSS and Orion. Literally 100s of
enhancements have been built into SurvCE2.5.
