Pocket PC data management solution for TPS400, TPS700, TPS 800 and System 1200  instruments. Leica Geosystems offers the latest concept of data management through mobile computing – Leica Instrument Explorer and Leica Editor.

Leica Instrument Explorer enables you to exchange data from a total station and GPS1200 to your Pocket PC or vice versa, at your very own convenience of time and location. Leica Editor enables you to view text files (e.g. coordinate files, measurement files) on the Pocket PC. The additional features e-mail and File Transfer Protocol (FTP) gives you the possibility of exchanging files between a desktop computer with remote access and the Pocket PC on the Internet.

The Software Development Centres (SWDCs) is dedicated to providing Leica Geosystems customers with tailored solutions to their measurement problems. Since being founded in 2002 each centre includes experienced software developers and application engineers focused on providing custom solutions.  Each centre offers a unique service within the geomatics industry, giving Leica Geosystems customers the opportunity to improve on the already impressive return on investment potential of their measurement instruments and systems purchases.
