Tri-Max Tripod by Crain
The Tri-Max® can handle equipment up to 65 pounds and is highly recommended for all servo-driven and robotic total stations and 3-D lasers scanners. This tripod easily meets the ISO 12858-2-H standard for the stability of instrument tripods. The revolutionary design of this tripod series and Crain's commitment to quality mean this tripod will meet the ISO standard right out of the box, and after years of field use. The Tri-Max® features a 6 - 5/8 inch head with a large center hole (2 - 5/8 inch) to facilitate an easy set-up over a point. A retaining system, which prevents leg kick out and accidental falls on surfaces, is stored on the inside of the leg and can be left in place when the tripod is not in use. The size and shape of the foot are designed to allow for a solid, stable placement on any terrain. The foot is equipped with a replaceable point and a retention loop for use with a safety strap.
The Tri-Max foot plants firmly and tight.			The Quick-Clamp positive locking system can be placed on the inside of the leg if needed.

For use in mud, swampy areas and other soft terrains. The longer points allow your Tri-Max Tripod to be more firmly and securely planted in the ground. Weighs 0.9 lbs (0.4 kg).					For harder surfaces, such as ice and snow, use the snow plates on your Tri-Max Tripod for more secure planting on harder surfaces. Tri-Max feet have a dimple in the center of the footpad. Drill out using 3/8 inch bit and then attach bolt clamp from underneath. Place the plate over top and secure with screw knobs.

Portable 11 Foot Fiberglass Tripod
